NGC 7380 + Sh2-142: The Wizard Nebula in Cepheus Hybrid Combination of Narrow Band and Natural Colors Images of the gas complex Sh2-142 - also known as "The Wizard Nebula", sourrounding the young open cluster NGC 7380 in Cepheus.

Relevant Facts:
- The curious name which has been given to the nebula because it is very similar to an ancient sorcerer.
- The estimated distance of the cluster and the nebula is about 11,500 light years
- One of the stars of the cluster is the variable DH Cephei that is a Binary Eclipse and it is one of the main responsible of the ionization of the associated big gas cloud
- The cluster was discovered by Caroline Herschel.
